Are the acrylic nameplates fragile?

While they look like glass, they are made of ultra-durable acrylic. They are much harder to break than glass and can survive a fall from a desk, though we still recommend handling them with care to avoid surface scratches.

Can I use a funny title or a nickname instead of a real name?

Definitely! Whether you want "Dr. Natalie Reynolds" or "Master of Disaster," we’ll print whatever you want. They make great gag gifts or personality pieces for your own office.

Will the text fade or peel off over time?

Not at all. For the metal signs, we use laser engraving, which physically etches the text into the plate. For the acrylic, we use the AcryliPrint®HD process, which seals the design inside the material so it won’t scratch or flake off.

How do I clean my nameplate?

Just use a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner (like a damp microfiber cloth). Avoid using harsh chemicals or thinners, as those can dull the shine of the acrylic or damage the finish on the metal.

Is there a character limit for the text?

We recommend keeping it to 1–2 lines for the best look. The more text you add, the smaller the font has to be to fit. If you're worried about your text being too long, feel free to reach out and we can let you know if it'll fit!

Do these come with a stand?

The Metal badges come with a built-in black metal base. The Acrylic nameplates are thick enough to stand upright on their own, so they don’t need any extra hardware just unbox it and set it on your desk!

Can I print on both sides of the acrylic block?

Currently, we print on the back of the block using the AcryliPrint®HD process, which allows the design to show through the clear acrylic with a cool depth effect. This means the design is meant to be viewed from the front.

Does the acrylic nameplate have sharp edges?

Nope! We polish the edges of the ultra-durable acrylic until they are smooth and slightly rounded. They’re safe to handle and catch the light beautifully without being "pokey."
